VIC: Euroa Saleyards stage two scheduled to begin
The Victorian government has announced the beginning of stage two of the Euroa Saleyard upgrade. Minister for Regional Development, Jaala Pulford, said the upgrades would build upon previous works completed last year.
WA: Kwinana wastewater upgrades complete
More than $15.2 million worth of wastewater system upgrades have been completed in Bertram, Parmelia and Orelia. Minister for Water, Mia Davies, said the upgrades were vital for contained regions within Kwinana.
QLD: $251 million Queensland University student housing project
The Queensland government has approved a $251 million student accommodation precinct at the University of Queensland. Construction is expected to commence mid-2017.
SA : $2 million grant for Midfield milk processing facility
The South Australian government has announced a $2 million grant to support a $60 million milk processing facility in Penola. Minister for Regional Development, Geoff Brock, said the grant would provide the state’s dairy sector with a much needed boost.
NT: Rum Jungle rehabilitation program $10 million extension
The Northern Territory government has announced an allocation of $10 million to continue rehabilitation planning at the Rum Jungle Uranium mine site.
WA: $10.5 million Busselton redevelopment
The Western Australian government has announced a $10.5 million redevelopment of Busselton to accommodate the local tourism industry. The project is expected for completion in 2017.
